Spot on: Bianca Radu. "Every person is unique.

Meet Bianca Radu, Lead Partner Technical EPM Services. On Jan. 10, 2022, Bart & Partners' team was joined by Bianca Radu. Time to introduce her....

What is your background?

I was born in Romania where I graduated from Bucharest Polytechnic University. My career started with an internship at Oracle. After that I worked there as an operations manager and later as a pre-sales consultant. In 2013, my husband and I moved to the Netherlands. Here I continued my career at an Oracle partner, where I got acquainted with EPM and became a technical EPM consultant. My last employer before Bart & Partners was an American company where I worked as an account manager for the support team.

What does your job as Lead Partner Technical EPM Services entail?

I am responsible for all technical aspects of EPM: from design, upgrades, implementation, managed services to technical and application support. Currently I am involved in technical EPM upgrade projects. This involves installation, configuration and migrations from previous versions to the latest version. I am also following training courses in the area of cloud infrastructure so that I can switch to this area in the near future.

How did you end up at Bart & Partners?

At some point, I came into contact with Bart van Velzen. He asked me if I was interested in getting back into the world of EPM. And to be honest, I really missed the hands-on technical work. That is why I made this choice and I am happy that I have returned.

Why did you choose Bart & Partners?

I have had conversations with both Bart van Velzen and Bart Vringer. First of all, I really appreciate them as people and value the way they work and their sincerity. That was one of the main reasons why I chose Bart & Partners. I had also heard good things from some ex-colleagues who already worked for Bart & Partners. And as I said, I missed the technical EPM work.

What do you like about your work?

That no project is the same. Every project is unique. Every customer is unique. Every person is unique. This continues to challenge me. In addition to technical skills, my job also requires soft skills. I find that an attractive combination.

You have been working for Bart & Partners for a month now. How do you experience your new job?

I can say that I identify with the company's core values. Values like trust, focus, simplicity, 'can-do' and taking responsibility. I find both Barts very good leaders and like their leadership style: 'leading by example'. They deliver high quality work themselves and this motivates all of us to consistently deliver high quality work. I also like my colleagues very much. I think they are the best professionals in their field. But more importantly, they are also great people.
